sheraton AC / Caesar's / Showboat / Courtyar- help me pick!

Hi there,

I am choosing between:

the Sheraton 117

Caesars 119

Showboat 89

and marriott courtyard 117

for one night. we want to "do the boardwalk" and relax en route to the shore?

the sheraton has great reviews but... is it a far walk to the boardwalk? safe at night?

the showboat comes recommended by friends and is cheapest but ... will that feel far away? anyone used the harrah's shuttle?

What else should I think about? help! :) thanx ww

I would go with Caesars. It is centrally located.

I would also choose Caesars because of the location.

Definitely Caesar's. For all it's faults, it's still the best location on the boardwalk.

Have fun,

I would do Showboat and take the extra $30 bucks and have a nice dinner. Showboat is located at the end of the boardwalk, next to Resorts and the Taj Mahal, which will give you a nice distance to walk the boards. Also, Showboat has upgraded rooms. Ask for the Bourbon Tower!

Here's how I rate your choices:

1. Caesars (there's so much happening in this area from the three casinos to the two beach bars to the shopping to the nightclubs that you'll never run out of things to do).

2. Showboat (only if the lower price is really important or if you have kids who want to go to Steel Pier).

3. Sheraton (nice hotel if you are in town for a convention and close to the outlets but too far from the Boardwalk unless you are saving a lot of money).

4.Marriot Courtyard (nice place but in a bad area and too far from everything).

Parking is 5 dollars. Sometime they have a promo where if you play for a while they will pay for parking.

IMHO I would also chose Showboat this time of year. The casino has about everything Caesars has and is connected to the Taj and Resorts as noted above. Use the difference of $ to ride rolling chairs to the central boardwalk and wherever you want to stop. As a guest you can also use the shuttle to see some of the city on the way to Caesars or Ballys. The rolling chairs are a great AC experience! And it’s a nice walk along the boardwalk this time of year.

Have a wining trip.
