Just decided to go to AC for first time tomorrow

I am going to be unable to make it back to Vegas for a while, so my friend and I decided to take a road trip to AC tomorrow. In Vegas I love the convenience of playing and staying in the same casino. Can anyone suggest a hotel-casino or a hotel within walking distance of a casino, on a Saturday night (tomorrow night), that would be less the $125.

Also looking for $3 blackjack tables. Do they exist in AC? if so I would appreciate suggestions on where to go. I am used to heavy research on Vegas, but I know nothing about AC, and have no time to learn.

We are planning on doing some gambling tomorrow night, then on Sunday going to Ripleys, the lighthouse, and some other places. It will be a short trip, but we want to squeeze as much into it as we can.

I appreciate any suggestions.

You will be lucky to find $5 BJ tables on Saturday night. Most will be $10 and up. As far as $125 a night in AC, boy that will be also be hard to find. I'm sure no Casino will have that rate. Maybe one of the places on the Black/White horse pike may work for you. Do a search on Trip Advisors site to see what's out there.

Good Luck!

I've yet to see a $3 Blackjack table in AC. The lowest you'll see on a Saturday is $10 if you look around, and at night, the lowest will most likely be $15.

Info on betterbidding.com shows that on Priceline the AC Sheraton has been accepting bids anywhere from $70 (weekdays) to $113 per night (weekends). You may want to give that a try. Casino hotels will be at least double that if you have no players card.

Oh, and one more FYI..I also noticed on betterbidding that Harrah's has accepted bids for $55 weekdays in December.

My friend can get 50% off at Marriot's. Are there any Marriots in close proximity to where we would want to be?

Hey Benny,

There is only one Marriott near the Boardwalk and that is the Courtyard. Wish I knew you were going. Could have gotten you a room at the Borgata/WaterClub

$3 blackjack tables don't exist in AC and $125 casino hotel rooms on a Saturday night are hard to find (I did find one). If you have a players card and some play at Harrahs properties you can log onto your account with them and see what kind of rates your play will get you.

I looked at http://www.achotelexperts.com/ and here are a couple suggestions about where to stay:

Atlantic City Hilton $120 Saturday night. I've never stayed there, but am in shock and disbelief that the rate is so low

Tropicana $179 Saturday night

The Annex at the Chelsea $98 for Saturday night - this is very close to the Trop. Newly renovated but expect a motel style room.

Bluegreen at the Atlantic Palace $159 - centrally located but not a casino. I've never stayed there but someone recently posted here a good experience there.

I hope you have a good trip to AC!

Hi Harlemgirl. This is Benny Junior. is the Courtyard nice. We can get that for $70 tomorrow night. Sounds like that might be our best bet.

Thanks for info ambvra. I think we are going to try to get that one. Do you think we can find $5 tables on early Sunday Morning?
