Best Sunday Brunch

My husband and I have started a new tradition over the past few years that we spend Easter Sunday in AC. We have always found a good place for a late lunch/early dinner, before heading home.

This year I would love to have brunch - and I mean the best brunch ever! Eggs benedict, omlet station, prime rib, crab legs. omething delicious and luxurious.

Where would the best brunch be in AC?

my favorite sunday brunch is at caesar's.

this is not the regular "buffet" on the 2nd floor, but a much fancier champagne brunch at nero's on the third floor. it has everything you'd expect... all the things you mentioned and more, using all quality ingredients, set up in several serving stations around the room, with the desserts overflowing into the hallway outside the restaurant.

it's $49.95 a person, i believe (not sure if there's a holiday up-charge. it's worth it, even if you have to pay cash and are not using comp points.

Friends took us to Sunday Brunch last year at Trump Plaza. I believe the name of the restaurant is Roberto's. It was excellent, truly top-notch food and service. I don't know what it costs because they treated us with their comps. I'm sure it isn't cheap but it is worth it.

I used to enjoy the Sterling Brunch at the Hilton but I'm not sure if they have it anymore. I have also heard many good things about Robertos but have never tried it myself

You might be interested in the Knife & Fork. They do some nice specials but there’s nothing listed for Easter yet.

I see you are probably coming down from Point Pleasant. You might want to consider Easter Brunch at the Smithville Inn, a few miles closer than AC on Route 9. It usually gets some rave reviews. They haven’t posted their 2010 Easter menu yet.

We will be in AC this weekend and are thinking of brunch at Caesars. Do you think we would need a reservation?

Can't wait to get to AC.

reservations are always advisable at the fancy sunday brunches at any of the casinos, but you'll probably be OK this weekend without one. (i got in with no problem at caesars without reservations on four occasions in november and december.)

the following weekend (valentine's day), it would probably be best to make a reservation. holidays are often packed..

The Hilton does still have their fabulous Sterling Brunch on Sundays, and they've moved it into one of their nicer locations (formerly the Chairman's Club, currently The Oaks Steakhouse). I think it's $40 p/p and includes champagne and mimosas. It's a beautiful buffet with lots of shellfish, omelette and pasta stations, and select made-to-order menu items. The service is first class. I do not think you will disappointed. Reservations are suggested, but last time we went there with a party of six and had no problems getting a table.

UKstages, if I remember correctly, you said you were 7 Star. 7 Star will never be refused without a reservation, not so for other players. Keep in mind, this is Superbowl Sunday we're talking about.

Kenzie212, I would recommend that you make a reservation, it gets pretty crowded this weekend at Nero's
