Bachelorette Party Weekend in Atlantic City

I'm in a wedding with a very demanding bride to be and she expects a long weekend in Atlantic City for her Bachelorette Party. I'm startting to freak out about the cost of a full weekend of drinking and dancing, not to mention everything in between. Anyone gone to AC for a Long Weekend Bachelorette Party, and have an idea of the amount of $$$ it's going to cost me??? We;ll obviously be doing clubs/dancing on each of the three nights, so cost of cover and drinks needs to be considered. OMG, what am I getting myself into!?!? HELP!!!

I think Casbah in Taj still lets women in with no cover on Fridays. Anyone know if this is still true?

the harrah's family of hotels has a special department that can help you, and possibly save you some dough, if you'll be booking five rooms or more:

I just helped my niece set up her bachelorette party which will be at Harrahs. 3 rooms at Waterfront Tower for a Saturday night retailed for $350 each. Cabana rental at the "Pool" for Saturday night with bottle service is $1500 for 8 people. Additional guests pay the $20 club entrance fee. Dinner on Saturday night at Polistina's for 8 people will run about $800 with drinks. They will also do the spa on Saturday afternoon (figure $100 each)and I assume they will want to eat breakfast on Sunday before leaving (figure $20 each). So it's a hefty tab for just one overnight. Of course, you don't have to do the above, but just the cost of decent hotel rooms for Friday and Saturday nights is steep. One suggestion I made (which fell on deaf ears) was to stay OUTSIDE of AC and rent one of those giant limos to transport them back and forth for dinner and the clubs...but what do I know? :)

Hope you have fun without going bankrupt!

I think most of the casinos cater to party groups. The Trop has also been popular for bachelorette parties, and sometimes even the Trumps.

Have a fun time & good luck to the “very demanding bride to be.”

As a female who has been in more weddings ( in various capacities:)) than I care to recall, I wish to speak for the bachelorettes who wish you'd keep the costs DOWN. Yes, I would probably spring for my share of a room for TWO nights, and I'd say Borgata has the most options. Once there "Let every man betake him to his heels" so those who may HAVE A BUDGET don't feel obligated to go in debt just to hang with a friend. The bride can choose to have as many massages as she wishes, and if she wants to spend a grand + for bottle service, then that's on her. Forcing someone who can't afford to do so to part with a paycheck for a "very demanding bride" is a sure recipe for resentment. Of course, if all of you are hideously rich - - and I hope you ARE :) -- please disregard my input. :):) You can have a lot of fun without spending tons of money. Hoppe you all have a great time!

A non-casino hotel will probably be a little cheaper, as will most restaurants that are not inside a casino. For dinner try Carmine's at the Quarter, it's family-style Italian and a fun place to eat with a group. There are plenty of clubs and bars that do not have cover charges, nor require bottle service in order to get a seat. The current hot spots are Dusk at Caesar's, the Pool at Harrah's, any bar in the Borgata, and the 5th Floor at the Chelsea Hotel. You should be able to get info on each of these places on-line and make informed decisions about what fits best within your budget before you get there. With proper planning, you can keep costs down or at least minimize the pain.

Have fun, LuvBreezes

What weekend are you planning your trip? We're planning a bachelor party in AC sometime in May, but have yet to nail down an exact date. We all have never been to the city and have no idea on where to go. We were looking at staying at the Borgata? sp?? Maybe we can join up and party.
