shuttles

We will be in Atlantic city from May 6-8. Being that we are staying at Bally's we wondered are there shuttles that go over to the Borgata-or what is the best way to see the 3 casinos in that area. Thank you.

There is a shuttle that will take you from Ballys to Harrahs, from there you could walk to the other two casinos. Check with the front desk at Ballys and they will explain what you need to show the shuttle driver in order to board the shuttle. Another option is to take a jitney $2.25 each way or a cab, I think max fare is still $13.00.

Harrah's has a free shuttle for guests of their hotels. It will take you to Harrah's and Trump Marina is a short walk along a waterfront walkway. Borgata is a 15~20min walk along a waterfront walkway. If you do decide to walk, I suggest you use the waterfront walkway as the roads aren't really safe for pedestrian crossing. You will need proof of your hotel room to board the Harrah's shuttle [need some help here].

There is also the jitney at $2.25 fare pp. Take Jitney #2, or just ask before boarding

For the shuttle you need to show the room slip they give you when you check in. Not your room key, not the envelope they put stuff in, but the actual slip. The same slip you use to charge stuff back to your room. Along with that you also need to show your gold total reward card. If you are Platinum or above all you need to do is show your TR card. But gold you do need the slip with. And yes they will turn you away without it. They will also turn you away if you only have a slip and no TR card.

your card and/or your status and/or your room slip is good for two passengers on the shuttle.

If you plan to take the Harrahs shuttle, sometimes there are long waits, they use to run two shuttle's during the day, The last time I was there, we waited shuttle came and only let three people on, waited again and didn't get on, so we took the Jittney over to Harrahs. Good Luck

Be prepared for long waits. Last February, I almost froze to death waiting at the Harrah's stop going to Bally's. I swear it almost took an hour for me to catch a ride back to Bally's.

MAny posters have said the wait for the shuttle is long. Can someone tell me what a jitney is and how often do the run and where do you pick them up at?
