Trip report.

Hello all, here's a trip report on our recent visit to AC, June 27 to 30.

Us. Second trip to AC for my wife and me. First trip was in April of this year. My wife's two sisters went with us this time. First time to AC for them.

Room. Both visits we had rooms in Claridge tower of Bally's. The rooms were fine both times. This trip I had a rate of $69 for Sunday, and comp for Monday and Tuesday night. So for the 3 nights, with 4 in the room, the total cost was $114.

Food. In our 2 visits, wife and I have gone to 4 buffets. Our ranking from best to least. 1. Wild wild west @ Ballys. 2. Showboat. 3. Trump Taj. 4. Tropicana. Remember, this is just our opinion. We also tried the Irish Pub on St James Place. All 4 of us liked itvery much, and would go back on a future visit. One other place we all liked was Johnny Rockets in Bally's.

Gambling. We all lost. The 3 women played only slots. I played Craps twice in the Wild wild west casino. Lost both times. One slot we all liked was Reel em in. I believe that is the correct mane. There are 4 machines that you play alone. Then a bonus comes up, and all 4 players are on 2 big screens above you. You fish or race your boats against the other players. That was a lot of fun.

I did have a big hit for me. I won a $530 bonus on The Soprano's @ the Trump Taj. That was on min bet. That was our last night there, so I was able to come home with $$. I also won $100 on Star Trek. I am looking to playing that game again.

Entertainment. We saw the Cirque Jungle show at the Taj. Everyone enjoyed it. I would like to see it again with seats up front. Everyone also enjoyed walking and shopping on the Boardwalk.

Now were all waiting for room comp offers to arrive, so we can plan our next visit.

Thanks, Fred.

Fred ~ Thanks for sharing your report here. You made some good choices for a 3 day visit. Reel-em-in is a lot of fun when you get the big screen bonuses. Which casino do you play it in?

I’m sure room offers will be coming your way soon, at least by the end of summer.

Fred - sounds like you all had a fun trip! Nice wins in the end... better to win near the end of a trip sometimes to make sure you bring some money home!

Glad to hear the show was good - plan to see it next month..

Thanks all for the responses.

easydave, we played Reel Em In at Bally's and Trump Taj. Some of the women playing were wild. When the bonus came, they would jump out of their seats, and scream at the screens for their fisherman to win. It was a lot of fun both playing and watching others play.

aquarius59, yes we are hooked. We go to about 4 casinos here in upstate NY. But they are day trips. We have found its more fun knowing we have a bed nearby. So we can drink and stay up as late as we want. And there other things to do when we want a break from "losing money."

On our way home from AC, both of my sister-in-laws had their pocket calenders out checking when we could go back.

Thanks, Fred
