$19.20 rooms

Just heard this on Fox news....

Martin Scorsese has made it possible to offer 1,920 rooms at harrahs, Caesars, ballys and showboat for $19.20. Starting today until September 30th.

All because of Boardwalk Empire and it being filmed in the 1920’s.

i'm not sure martin scorsese has anything to with the promo and the show was actually filmed this year, but rooms are indeed being offered for $19.20.

It's a little tricky to find this pricing but during the promotion they also have Fridays and Saturdays for $19.20 at Ballys and Showboat. (Caesars Saturdays are sold out and I didn't check Harrahs.)

Hello, welcome to Bally's....your rooms are right up the steps there and then follow the signs to the "Claridge". Enjoy your stay...and be sure to write a negative review on Trip Advisor afterward and complain the room was not worth the $20

when I checked this morning Ballys and Showboat had rooms for the weekend at 19.20, all told with three people I paid about $54 for Sat. night. I booked Showboat after seeing Ballys option of Claridge tower-Ceasers and Harrahs were sold out. When I called, casino employees did not seem to know much about this promotion (started today) and got vague answers. This is a great promotion and if you can, take advantage of it.

KalAc: I'm not understanding. Did you get one room for 3 people for $54.00. Or did you get 3 rooms at $19 each for $54. Is it $19 per person, or $19 per room. Or is it $19 per person, regardless of how many people in the room. Or is is $19 per room, regardless of how many people. Hope someone can clear this up.

It was one room with 2 queen beds/ 3 people for $54 without the deposit. Each room is $19.20 and Harrahs allocated about 2000 rooms in total for the promo. Apparently, this is promotion is in conjunction with the airing of the HBO series.

Harrahs did not limit this promo to Monday-Thursday, you could book a Sat. night with this promo- but those went fast. When I checked around 10:15 this morning Ceasers/Harrahs weekends were gone. To tell you the truth I am impressed.

A $19.20 cent room costing $54 reminds me of my last Allegiant Air flight that was $18 RT but cost $52.99.

It takes away from the magnificent price you think you were getting only if you let it. After a couple of minutes of grumbling about how they nickle and dimed me I had to admit that it was still much less than I could have gotten elsewhere.

That really is a great promo!

I still do not understand how a $19.20 room ends up with a $54 bill unless there were room charges involved but either way, $54 for a Sat night stay at Showboat during the summer is a great deal !

There are 3 people in the room - I think it is a $20 charge for an additional person. So $20 room + $20 extra person + tax + random HET charges could be $54.
