Morton's Surf and Turf For Two

morton's steakhouse, located near the front or rear entrance of caesars (depending on which TA member gives you directions) is having a special.

$109.99 (for two people dining together) will get you the following three course seasonal menu:

first course

• caesar salad or morton's salad

second course

• two single cut filets

plus, select two additional items: broiled sea scallops • colossal shrimp alexander • jumbo lump crab cake

• one signature potato to share

• one fresh vegetable to share

(select one of the following three steak enhancements for $65 per person: double cut filet mignon • prime ribeye steak • single cut prime new york strip

third course:

• hot chocolate cake, key lime pie or crème brulee

it's a heck of a lot of food and, relatively speaking, not very expensive (for casino prices), especially if you have a lot of comps to burn (even after a 2 for 1 comp conversion).

the special is not on the menu; you'll have to ask for "morton's signature menu for two" when you make your reservation or when you arrive at the restaurant. price is valid through march 31st; it's apparently available whenever they're open (no weekend exclusions); tax and gratuity not included, blah blah blah.

this special is AWESOME. I have taken advantage of it at the Morton's in Philadelphia on numerous occasions. If any thing it is to much food.

Thanks for the tip. We're staying at Caesars the 16th & 17th and we'll check that out for sure.

Of all the times that I've stayed at Caesars (you all know its been my mailimg address for the past 2 years) I have never been to Mortons!

Something about chain steakhouses are not very appealing to me. But looking at this promo, I will check it out on my next visit. Hey, why not, I've eaten at every other place in Caesars.

morton's is pretty good. i know it's a chain, but i like to think of it as just another place to eat at caesars.

if you don't want to commit to the whole big dinner thang, they have a bar menu which is pretty good and pretty cheap (again, by casino standards). the burgers - available at the bar - are better than those served upstairs at the VB burger bar, in my opinion.

I love the bar~cheeseburgers too, Especially during PowerHour.

The spinach & mushrooms is fabulous. The asparagus, meh ~ they're thick & they whittle down the stems. But I do like the filet oscar, they only serve the asparagus tips

One of these days, I'll make sure I have room for the chocolate volcano. I've never had it

I got this "offer," too, and I am going to try to persuade wythany to do this next Thursday night. PM me if you want to join us. I'm bringing ziplock bags for everyone.

We're on unless the weather does not cooperate. :(((

Now the only other decision is between pinot noir and sauvignon blanc -- at least according to this dude:
