Was there tnight. Met some really nice 7* from all over the country. Great Hugh end wine choices. Decor all grey silver and white. Very classy. Very limited menu for this weekend and some very "green" servers. Some kinks to work out but a great addition for 7* to "this side of the boardwalk".

It was very crowded over the weekend and they had to turn people away after the show on Saturday. The menu was good and will remain the same every week with them adding additional items weekly. The staff was overwhelmed. The waitresses were inexperienced but looked good, if you know what I mean. One of the waitresses started crying on Saturday night, and quit in the middle of her shift. The girls were complaining about the tips. One girl got $13 in the 9 hours she worked. I did notice that the people on either side of us did not leave tips. The service wasn't the greatest and it took almost 1 1/2 hours to get our food. I am sure this will get better with time. All in all though the club is really beautiful. Michael ran around like crazy, waiting and bussing tables and Betty stopped in at the end of the night to help out.

We were at the Amphora Lounge in Borgata this weekend, as well as the Chairman's Club at the Hilton, and I cannot tell you how often we saw people leave little or no tip. I mean, really? I can't even wrap my head around that, it is so wrong! We are consistently good tippers, in part because we go there often and they take great care of us, but also to try and help balance out the bad ones. I truly hope that everyone on TA knows better. Since we all appreciate AC so much, we should also appreciate the folks who work hard to ensure our good time!

I think the biggest reason is there were no/few tips at 7* club is, it was the signature event and there were ppl from all over. They are not regulars or locals and they probably figured that, since it was a free weekend, they weren't going to waste their money on tips.

Its sad, because when I go to their home casino's, I always tip generously!

I understand that they weren't even gambling as must as usual on the casino floor.

I also try to leave a good tip. The meal on the outside would cost more than what I would leave as a tip. I usually leave $10 for 2 people. $5 each for lunch is a great buy.

we were at the new seven lounge on friday. when we arrived around 3:00, we were told there would be a 45-minute wait. they had a list, took names, as well as cell phone numbers... which i thought was a nice touch. (they said they would call when a table opened up.)

we went back around 3:40 and they said they were just about to call. we were seated immediately, as were some people who arrived at that time. inside, it was still very full. we shared a salad and a shrimp cocktail and a few glasses of champagne.

i thought the shrimp were larger than those at harrah's seven stars lounge, if that's even possible. the salad was good, although i've never seen caesar salad served with whole leafs of romaine, not torn up. tasted great, but was a bit unwieldy to eat. service was, as others have noted, a bit rough around the edges, with servers dropping plates and drinks and unable to keep up with the crush of people.

unlike harrah's lounge, they seem to have two people working as a team, one for drinks and one for food. the menu didn't seem to have many substantial food items on it. i know it's a "small plate" concept, but the harrah's lounge seems to have more hearty food items, both hot and cold. we didn't order a lot since we wold be having dinner at 8 PM, and what we had was just fine, but it'll be interesting to see how this shakes out on subsequent visits... if the menu remains as light as it is now, or if they add more - and heartier - selections.

the lounge is very elegant, with plush decor, but it was very dark in there! at one point, they raised the lighting level (made it much brighter) and people actually applauded! hey, don't they realize the average age of a seven star... and that half of them can't read a menu in dim light or even see their food?

we tipped, and so did those around us.

We ate at the bar at 7* lounge. Different from harrahs where if u eat at the bar, the bartender also takes and serves your food order. Thus I think works best unless you are seated at a table. We left a $15 tip but are not sure how it would be divided bcause the waitress served us the food and murph seeved us drinks. We tried to coach them and tell them harrahs way of doing business (it seems to make more sense). They also have s dedicated service bartender at harrahs which makes things smoother. No one had a clear "job responsibility" last weekend. Hope they can get the kinks out
