We left from Exit 100 at 9:15 last Saturday morning, did not hit any traffic but it was starting to get busy, especially where we got off for the AC Expwy. Going home Sunday were on the road around 6 pm; didn't hit traffic until Belmar. The widening of the GSP to three lanes really does make a difference, I hope they extend it all the way past LBI one day.

I hope you all have a quick trip. No traffic or mishaps on the way down and back. it's just that it will be so hot on Friday that I wonder how many people will take an early week-end and cause more traffic. Anyway have a safe and winning trip.Let's get some good TR . Love to read them

Not going but have had success going down after 6 on Friday nights or early 9 ish Sat morning. I just cant seem to get home on a sunday without getting stuck in something - regardless of time of day this time of year. Have fun all.

Jane: And that is why we never leave on Sunday's, though 2 Mondays ago the traffic was horrendous and we diverted through Manhattan, which was actually a better choice, even with the back-up at the inbound Holland Tunnel.
