Luxury hotels on the Boardwalk an Oxymoron?

Are there any modern updated hotels on the anywhere on the boardwalk. Looking for Borgata quality on the boardwalk seems like a fantasy. Please help.

I would have to say no. Caesars & The Taj are nice properties and considered tops on the boardwalk but they are not in the same league as the Borgata.

I agree..... Caesars and Taj are the best bet for good rooms and a variety of casino games to play. Both also have some nice places to eat and relax also both have the more popular night clubs (Dusk and Casbah).

We stayed in a room at the Taj last summer that was much nicer than any of the rooms I have stayed in at the Borgata. I don't know what tower it was, but it had a southern view. Very, very nice. Very luxurious.

Also, we have stayed in at least two rooms in the Centurian tower that rivaled anything I have stayed in at Borgata. Of course, I have never stayed in the Water Club and I have only ever stayed in a classic room and a one-bedroom suite at the Borgata so I am by no means expert.

Have fun wherever you stay!

We enjoy the Chairman Tower at Taj for the quietness and new feeling. The colors are abit bright with the orange and brown but the showers are large with great water flow.

You aren't going to find the large selection of restaurants like Borgata has in any casino on the boardwalk.

And, You're not going to find the Ocean and the Boardwalk at those Marina Hotels either. Yes, the Borgata and Harrah's do offer the more luxury style hotel rooms (stayed at both), but I miss the Ocean/Boardwalk when in that Marina area, it really depends on what's most important to You. I thought the Bayview Tower at Harrah's was equally as nice as Borgata, but it's been a couple of years.

I am staying at Bally's next weekend and was told I would get the Ocean view-High Floor-Premium room, I will report back on how that was. I've stayed at Caesars, and Showboat, and found their rooms to be very nice.

Anything above Motel 6 is a luxury to me.Being on the Boardwalk with an ocean view is also a luxury.Hell, just going on a trip is a luxury!

I've only stayed at Taj and Caesars and both have been great to me.

Revel should be luxury on the Boardwalk next year, but,I think their business plan is to sell the rooms for players at my level.

If it ain't free,it ain't me!

No offense, but if you plan on staying in the room, you might as well stay home.
