Revel Players club thread

Since there seems to be a lack of info on this subject, this thread is intended to collect post information germane to this topic:

By tripsAAA:

"There is absolutely no information available about the Revel players club card, either in casino or online. There should be an online portal to access your information and check your accounts and offers. On site, they should have information available about how to earn points and how much it takes to earn comp dollars. Right now, there's no printed information and the staff was unable to give us even the slightest clue. This will be a big problem in the future."

The place has been open for over a week now and you would think that info on their Players Club should have been made known to the interested parties by now, however it still remains a total mystery. I emailed my host at the Revel last week asking him if he could explain to me how points will accumulate at the Revel. I have yet to hear back which kinda makes me a little uneasy. I'm scheduled to stay there next monday night and really have no desire to pump any decent amount of cash into their machines not knowing what I'm earning.

I'm seriously thinking about just staying put at Caesars my 3rd night and just stopping by the Revel to look around like the majority seems to be doing.

Thoughts anyone?

7star. Stop it already, Borgata doesnt share how their comp and slot dollars work so if you dont like it dont play there. Im sure they dont want you there anyway,

7 star has apparently left the building (for now).

with regard to comp earning capabilities at the revel, while they don't publish a formula, it does appear from visitor reports that earnings are accelerated over every other club in AC. we know that live poker players receive twice as many comps as at any other poker room in town. and another report indicates that comp dollar earnings from video poker accumulate 5X faster than at the borgata and 10X faster than at CZR properties:

one can assume, but not be certain, that accelerated earnings apply to slot players, as well (since video poker players generally receive much less than slot players.).

SugarHouse was open for weeks, maybe months, before their website really was fully up and running for the players club. We joined when we first visited but did so with virtually no information or details about how the program worked or what we could expect from it. So what Revel is doing isn't really that unusual or different.

They may not have done anything unusual or different but it would be nice to see them on the ball. I personally think it is a bit of a misstep that they weren't having people sign up for cards online months ago. But nevertheless the place is enjoyable say about it what you will.

perhaps.

but i would never advise signing up online for a payers card in advance of visiting a new casino, without first learning what their in-person sign up bonus is. as it happens, it wouldn't have made much of a difference at therevel, since there currently is no sign up bonus. in many cases, though, if you sign up online, you'll miss out on bonuses... and you miss the opportunity to negotiate with a host as a "new" member.
