Sunday Nite Steak Dinner ~ Recommendation?

With most of the casinos closing some of their restaurants off season, I was just curious as to where you would pick for a Great Steak dinner on a Sunday Nite in January...a non-casino restaurant such as the palm is also a possibility! Boardwalk or Marina, not important...just curious to see where to get the best steak in January! Thanx....

Dock’s Oyster house is often noted for having great steaks.

Or, from the same family the Knife and fork Inn.

I like Mortons in Caesars. They have a Filet Oscar which I just love. Oh drat! I just looked at their menu online, and I don't see the Filet Oscar

http://www.mortons.com/menu/dinner/ it was a regular menu item. It was filet topt with asparagus, hollandaise AND lump crabmeat ~ oh wait, I shouldn't praise it if you cannot get it. One thing they still have is Oysters Rockefeller. Mmmm, oysters

I had a great dinner at Simon in The Atlantic Club. I ate the surf and turf. It was one of the bes meals I've had in a long time.

Another vote for Mortons. Food and service is great. Call ahead and reserve a booth.

We had our last anniversary dinner at the Knife and Fork. Old school place that was awesome!

I love Scarduzio's at Showboat....full bunch of roasted garlic on my plate? Yes please!

I enjoyed American Cut at Revel a great deal as well.

Scarduzio's is a little more old school steak house style wise, American Cut is a bit more modern and I enjoyed several of their side items quite a lot. I did my Thanksgiving at Scarduzio's though.

Oh just wanted to note most every place will be open for Sunday nights even in January (steak house wise). Never hurts to call for reservations anyway though that way you have the assurance.
