Mark G Etess Arena in Trump Taj Mahal

I forgot about posting to the forum earlier I hope I get some answers. We are going to concert in 2 days at the Mark G Etess Arena in Trump Taj Mahal. I called and was told they do have valet parking but the girl working the front desk at the Taj Mahal hotel wasn't sure of the cost for the evening valet service. Does anyone know how much valet parking will cost just to have the car parked during the concert?

Do you have any tips to share about driving into Atlantic City in the evening for the show, which starts at 8 PM? We are not staying in Atlantic City for over night. We might try to arrive a little early to explore the casino a little but we are not really interested in the casino.

Do you have a gaming card from Trump properties? If so, use it when you valet. If you don't have one, you may be charged a higher price. I THINK you pay on the way out, HABAlexandria would know better... you reading this HABAlexandria? So you may want to sign up for the card while in Taj. You may want to walk through the casino, right out to Steel Pier and ride the rocket. http://www.steelpier.com/ the rocket is expensive, but it's my favorite, especially since the bumpercars are now kiddie~only bumpercars

And if you don't have EZPass be sure to avoid the highspeed EZpass only lanes

I don't see it on the website, and you may not want to drink since you're driving home the same night, but there is two bars on Steel Pier, one by the boardwalk & the other at the end 1000' out over the Atlantic Ocean

I think its around $10/$15 without a card. I have a signature card so its free. They charge you when you leave so you can get a card before the concert which will reduce the charge.

Thursday morning it was $15 without a trump card, no prices listed for the different levels of players cards.

I know one night last summer it was $25, but I am Chairman level so its free. I think the garage is $5 for all non-members and for the entry level players cards. They make you pay on the way in the garage, and pay afterwords for valet

Keep in mind parking rates may change for the evening, due to the weekend and/or concert, so while it may be $10/15 now, it is possible it could be higher when you get there! The self park garages at the casino hotels are usually less, most of the time $5.00/$10.00,so that is also an option. Enjoy Atlantic City and the Concert.

You can also park at Showboat or Resorts valet as Taj is right in the middle. I do not know when either of these two charge for valet, but both these two charge as you enter for self~park. And I may be wrong here, but I thought Taj charged for self~park on the way out and Trump Plaza charges on the way in. BTW, Resorts self~park elevator is sluggish

Thanks everyone for the responses. We will look into the Trump One gaming card, our daughter thinks we can sign up when we get there and use it to save on the valet parking that night. We do have EZ pass but thanks for mentioning that, because now that I have it on my mind we will be sure to be in the correct lanes at the toll booths (or whatever those things are called).

The bridges to NJ from Philly have either cash OR EZpass. Unlike most tollbooths, where you can get in a cash lane if it has a smaller queue, and the EZpass transponder will still work, on those bridges, you have to get in an EZPass lane.

edit: Wait, the toll is on the way home, so it should be The bridges from NJ to Philly

If you want to get gas on the way back, just before leaving NJ, there is two gas stations off Rt42 at the Bellmawr exit [I think it's Creek Rd exit]. The prices will likely be lower than the AC Expressway, but the restrooms are not good. If you want to use restrooms at this stop, I suggest going to the Wa~Wa up the road. & it's not a Mega~Wa~Wa, so they do not sell gas
