I am looking for a good restaurant for a special evening that you do not need to dress up. Hubby hates dressing up.

Are you seeking seafood, steak, a view of water, etc? We can work on narrowing places down with more info on your likes & preferences. And most place in AC you can dine in khaki shorts & a polo shirt no problemo.... that is provided >>Hubby hates dressing up<< doesn't = dining out in underwear

We eat just about anything. Probably seafood/steaks would be best. It does not matter if it is on the water or not. We take good food over atmosphere any day.

Morton's at Caesars is a great choice. If you call ahead for a reservation and mention that you're coming there to celebrate your anniversary, they have a couple of nice touches to enhance your experience there. The menu will have your names on the top wishing you a Happy Anniversary, they will take your picture and give it to you and you will receive free desert. They feature excellent steaks & great seafood. If you do decide to go there, ask for a booth when making your reservation. I dress pretty casual when dinning there, nice jeans & a button down collared shirt.

Fin in Tropicana emphasizes on local fresh seafood. And in good weather they have outside dining. Plus many indoor tables have an oceanview, but not all. They serve a yummy rosé wine called Jersey Blush ~ and I don't care for rosé, but I love it

Knife&Fork has Lobster Thermidor for $50. Mmmm Lobster Thermidor! They've been in AC for decades. Their windows are small, so less chance of getting any view

Morton’s is a decent chain, but I agree for good food and a more memorable celebration consider a famous place like Knife & Fork, or in a casino places like Fin or Nero’s, or even the Reserve or Harrah’s Steakhouse.

Happy Anniversary!

Harry's Oyster Bar in Ballys is more casual. It has excellent choices for raw oysters. And Oysters Rockefeller. Mmmm, Oysters Rockefeller! Also, you can get a whole chilled lobster from the rawbar for $18.50. And they have many outdoor tables. It's probably a few hundred feet set back from the boardwalk with a nice green lawn between you & the boardwalk

My pet peeve is people that go to restaurants looking like they are dressed to paint the fence.

How hard is it to out on a collared or Polo shirt and dockers.

I was in a nice steakhouse recently. This fat guy walks in in a filthy tee shirt and jeans that were so dirty it looked like he was planting a garden. The worst was he had on open sandals and his toe nails were nasty .

Why did i notice you may ask, well he was standing next to me waiting to be seated. It was hard to miss
