Will be in AC for Thanksgiving. Staying at Bally's. Can anyone suggest a good place to have a traditional Thanksgiving dinner.

AC tends to be slow for Turkey Day - it was the year we went. I would recommend Neros in Caesar......open table shows them open but i would call for the menu to be sure. Ballys steakhouse is nice - again check for holiday menus. I think we ate at Harrahs steakhouse and it was nice also.

Be sure to hit the walk outlets Friday they will be jammed but some deals to be had

We spent Thanksgiving in A.C. last year and found it low key -- but lots of restaurants were open. We splurged and went to the Knife and Fork Inn (http://www.knifeandforkinn.com). Most casino restaurants seemed to be open as well.

It was perfect for us, having just lost our mom. Low-key - not bombarded with Christmasmania (although as mentioned the outlets are fun to visit) and different from the "traditional" holiday.

We had fun and I would recommend it highly.

We usually do a buffet for Thanksgiving dinner. But one year we did Bobby Flay Steak. I still dream about the stuffing/dressing and the sweet potatoes.

Nero's will be open. What was supposed to be a nice quiet cozy dinner has now turned into a party for 12, but it will be fun. I have been to Nero's in the past for Thanksgiving, and it was always very good. They have their regular menu in addition to a Thanksgiving menu. Surprisingly Nero's has always been crowded on Thanksgiving.

Also, the new Boardwalk Buffet will be open. I took a tour through it over the weekend and it looks fabulous. The Galdiator Grill and the old Diamond club next to it has been opened up to add more space to the Buffet. They will be cooking on stone. They spared no expense.

From what I was told, the New Years Day Brunch will be up in the Buffet instead of the Palladium Ballroom.

OK, it's near the deadline. BUT I found an ad for Phillips in Caesars Pier for Thanksgiving dinner. $36 for a 3 course meal, hours are noon to 8pm. And I do remember apple~pear salad as the salad. I'll go find out the rest. BBS

Aha. Found the ad. Soup = butternut squash & spiced apple chowder [oopsie, you'll see later]. Salad = Autumn pear salad [Yup, I made an oopsie above↑, the apples is in the soup]. Turkey entree [what you're seeking] And ANOTHER oopsie. It's a 4~course meal. Dessert = pumpkin pie or apple pie ala mode or pumpkin cheesecake [Mmmm, cheesecake]

And. Girasole [In Ocean Club] has a 3~course turkey dinner for $33. Soup = gnoccetti vegetable soup. Entree = turkey barolo wine with stuffing [porcini mushrooms, Italian sausage & chestnuts]. Desserts = something homade. + Girasole had complimentary valet parking
