The All New Revel Card

got my mailer today. Revel card has been revamped and now has four tiers

Blu - base cad

Gold - 4000 pts

platinum -10000pts

black - 50000pts

$5 coin in on slots per point

$10 coin in on VP

looks like free self park for Gold Card and above and access to the Premier Lounge for Black Card and above.

Only negative I see is it looks like they eliminated the discounted food voucher program ($10 comp dollars for $30 food credit)

Anybody have more info on the new program?

Did they indicate your tier based on the new criteria?

3 card systems in less than 2 years?

Potentially 2 Bankruptcies in less than two years.....

Perhaps a 3rd owner inside of two years.......

With so much uncertainty it would be foolish to play much here

Exactly when is this new Revel Card revamp supposed to begin; Jan. 1, 2014, as did the current one back on Jan. 1, 2013? I haven't received the mailer (or an e-mail) yet & I cannot find anything posted on Revel's website. However, from what the OP stated, at least it becomes clearer as to how much play it takes to earn each point. But management didn't have to reinvent everything a third time over. They could have continued with the current system while clarifying the whole point-earning mechanism.

Also, did anyone else happen to notice a pattern; how the new Revel, tier-card system levels appear to almost replicate CZR's former tier-credit level requirements? This is one particular aspect I find intriguing whereas, it appears Revel is attempting to compete against CZR's TR's Program.

It certainly does seem to mimic the earlier TR schedule. "Imitation is the sincerest form of flattery."

It's actually a very sound strategy in that players who are looking to move their play to another casino want something transparent, that they can easily understand, and better yet, something that is very much like what they already have but with perceived better comps/perks (e.g. $10 VP pp).

Then again, "familiarity breeds contempt". I'm interested to see what "Gold" level benefits there are worth pursuing (im sorry, but i dont see free parking a draw, especially when it's usually earnable through minimal play). I'm guessing none.
