When it's too COLD for the Boardwalk, what do you like to do

When it's too COLD for the Boardwalk, what do you like to do on your two night stay?

I find this a very interesting question and would love to hear what others do in two nights, I have found that the touring the boardwalk usually breakups the casino fatigue syndrome, you know the one that you experience from "48 hours" inside one casino. but with these freezing temps, it is not so inviting.

Resorts, Taj Mahal and Showboat are all connected. Good day to put on some comfortable shoes and explore!

I would still walk the boardwalk in between casino visits.

I would just put on my facial ski mask, my hat which has folding, fleece ear covers (or if not my hat, then at least my ear muffs), my flannel-lined jeans, a blue sweater that zips up around my neck, & my thick, blue plaid & white-fleece lined, zip-up shirt/jacket. Then out on the boardwalk I would go into the 0 degree cold. If you added snow to the scenario, I would also put on my cheap ($10) pair of extremely warm & insulated, men's thick-vinyl boots along with a pair of socks.

If you are in Bally's or Caesars, you also have a huge indoor area to explore, including the pier. It's probably about as big as Resorts/Taj/Showboat. In Trump Plaza or Revel you would have to go outside to get to another casino. I do not understand why Trump Plaza and Caesars are not connected indoors.

We usually stay on the marina side so I enjoy the free wifi or a movie with room service up in the suite, or go to the Chart House for a drink and the view or H2O bar if open.

Can't play all the time in the casino as the noise and smoke just are too much. If on the boardwalk we walk the Revel and explore the hotel.

When its too cold out, I like to go to the indoor pool or the sauna. If I am staying at a casino located toward the middle of the boardwalk, I look at the stores at the Pier Mall. If I am staying at the Tropicana, I like to look at the stores in the Quarter and see whats new. I never spend the whole day gambling, because I would loose my bankroll too fast.

We stay at the Borgata and usually will drive over to Harrahs. Then we drive and park at Showboat and walk thru Taj Mahal and Resorts. Good exercise and while walking I'm not playing. In the evening we usually see the comedy show.
