Diamond coupon booklet

For those that picked it up, can you tell me what is in it? My pick up place is harrah's in philadelphia next weekend. Just want to see if it is worth going to get it. Also, what is the expiration dates on the vouchers? The past year I have split my time between harrah's in phil. and caesars and ballys in AC so I guess they chose harrahs, phil as my home base for the pick up of the coupon booklet. Closer for me anyway!

Major unpopular change this year with the $25 dining coupons is, “No more than two (2) renewal coupons can be used at any one time, nor can they be combined with any other offer/coupon.” They are also: “Valid for dine-in only.”

In regard to the "No more than two (2) renewal coupons can be used at one time" statement; I also noticed it this year. However:

Not every restaurant is enforcing this particular stipulation. Some are being a bit more lenient by honoring all 3 of the $25 dining coupons without questioning. Bally's The Reserve & Caesar's Nero's honored all 3 $25 coupons at once while Harrah's Luke Palladino strictly limited the use to 2 $25 coupons. So I do believe this restriction will be all dependent on what each restaurant venue is willing to honor/accept.

Last year Harrah's Steak house won't let me combined with other coupons, and Bally's Reserve won't let me use more than two coupons. Policies changes all the time and varies probably also based on the server. This year, I won't order anything like a whole lobster like I did last year until I verified with my server about the coupon usage policy at each establishment.

Last year, I did not (personally) experience an issue applying all 3 of the $25 coupons during one time at the following restaurants: Bally's Reserve, Harrah's Steakhouse, & Showboat's Casa di Napoli. Used all 3 $25 coupons last year towards their 3-lb. lobster & ordered a salad, a side, & cocktails; which brought the final tab a good deal beyond those $75 coupons that were applied at Harrah's Steakhouse. As for Caesar's (due to my own personal decision), I used 2 $25 at first towards Nero's Sunday Brunch & chose to apply the remaining $25 coupon later.

This year, I did not choose Harrah's Steakhouse to apply the 3 $25 coupons because dinner at Harrah's was this past Monday; & The Steakhouse is closed Monday's. So opted instead to dine at Luke Palladino, which did limit the use to 2 $25 coupons. Fully aware of the clause this year, I didn't have a problem with the Luke limitation. However, my server was not attentive at all; stood in the rear (almost constantly) chit-chatting with another associate & not paying any attention to diners. Also from a personal level, I have experienced much better service & entrée quality at the other finer CET restaurants; so fully doubt a return back to Luke Palladino (coupon limitation or not). As I stated in an earlier post, Bally's The Reserve Steakhouse (Sat.) & Caesar's Nero's (Sun.) honored all 3 $25 coupons without question; & coupon or not, have always received impeccable food & service at these two finer establishments.

Still have the 3 $25 for Showboat & the unused 1 $25 for Harrah's which will be used before their June 30th, 2014 expiration comes due.

PlayerW2B; perhaps a restaurant's policy is all dependent on a particular evening's server &/or the management team on board. While two of the CET restaurants did not question the 2 $25 limitation, one most certainly did. So I would imagine the coupon usage will be dependent as to who's on board during a particular evening. The restriction whereas one cannot combine the 3 $25 coupons with another CET offer I can totally understand. However, the CET clause restricting usage to 2 $25 coupons this year was a rather petty move on their part to cast upon their loyal players.

I too, didn't enjoy Luke Palladino. I doubt I will ever return. The Steakhouse was great and they took all 3 coupons as did the Reserve. I used two of the coupons at Nero's Brunch which is always great.

Well said Baseball. Even though I was limited to use the number/combined coupons last year, I was not upset. The service from both Harrah's Steak House and Bally's Reserve were super. With so many people fussy over your meal, I was not going to short cut their gratuity.
