Who's in AC For T-giving week?

Is anyone going down (or up)? I arrive late Tues nite and leave Fri a.m. at 10--I'm thinking about extending the departure time to 2:30.

If I leave on the train at 10:30 I get home at 4. If I leave on the AC train at 3:40 I get home at 9:30. I got a promo in the mail from Borgata for $100 bonus slot dollars for Black Friday so I'm thinking about changing my train ticket.

If anyone is around I would love to meet some of the great folks on here!

aquarius59.... I hope you have a great time next week, regardless of whether or not any of us are in town (wish I could be!). If nothing else, keep in mind that maybe we can have a real meeting of us all sometime next year with better planning than the abortive DRUNKFEST of a few months ago.

If the Borgata is giving you free money, why not take advantage of it? It would seem to be a shame to waste it....

Happy Thanksgiving to you.... wish we could all be in AC for it! <grin>

I changed my train ticket today to leave on the 3:35 AC train out & get home at 9:40. I only have 25 mins or so between the AC train and Amtrak so that is a good connection. Depending on the connections it's always about 5-6 hours for me to get home by train. But it still beats driving.

Money, yes, I think with some advance planning we should all attempt to meet in the winter. The casinos are quiet then and the likelihood of all of us getting a room are really good. I think it would be a blast.

If I run out of free gambling $$ I'll zip down to the outlets & truck around my suitcase til the train comes.

There's always something to do.

Allure-you'd be arriving as I'm leaving I'd like more than a hi nice to meet you by from my "soul buddy"!

Ironically, I'll be heading to your neck of the woods for Thanksgiving...staying in Norwich on Thanksgiving night and heading to upstate NY on Friday to see more relatives....I'm NOT planning to hit Mohegan Sun this trip since I won last time and figure that's it for the next 5 years at that place :)

Hope all of you have a great holiday and remember to leave some money for me!

What did you think of the results of Dancing With the Stars?

The show got a bit repetitive this week trying to fill in so much time with so little action. Tucker Carlson didn't improve since his last appearance!

I wondered if anybody on the forum might be watching. I'm afraid I bored my husband for the past 10 weeks making him watch and pretend to show some interest.

Watching "Dancing With The Stars" is like watching a porno movie with one gay and one straight . - Just a guy's opinion !

Bud and Allure

Are you admitting that you did watch Dancing (maybe just a little!)

Maybe next year they'll have a baseball player or hockey player instead of a football star. It ended up as a popularity contest.

Well, I really thought Mario was the better dancer--his freestyle dance was incredible. But, I think he had more experience than Emmett in this field, and in that respect I think that the judge Carrie-Ann hit the nail on the head when she stated that he was the person who didn't know how to dance and learned how to do it. I think that's what it's all about.

I loved how close the competition was...and Tucker was like a joke entry--like the competition last year when they had a journalist on there I forget who she was--she WAS better than Tucker though!

ACMama--enjoy! I can't wait to get out of here LOL! I'm getting tired of Mohegan I need to drive another 20 mins & start going to Foxwoods more. I need a change of venue. I'll be in AC tomorrow nite by 10:10--the trains and check in should be quiet I should be on the floor by 10:45. Can't wait! I have been dedicated to my kitchen remodel lately I can't wait to sit back & relax for a few days.

Happy Thanksgiving to all of you!
