Borgata by bus?

Hi. I haven't been to Atlantic City in years. I always go to Vegas. I was reading about Borgata and wanted to give it a try.

Is there a bus that goes directly there? If not whats the best place to get dropped off to get a taxi to Borgata?

I remember taking the greyhound with my parents to atlantic city and it was pretty tacky and full of very elderly people,

Is it still like that?

ALso is Borgata a happening place or is is empty?

The hounds are a little bit better than the Acadamy Buses . Borgota is packed on Friday nt through Sunday evening this time of year . But almosts always 'busy' . The best casino to go to for a cab ride over is Trump Marina .

There are No daily buses to the Borgata. One I know of from here in Pa. does some overnite trips. You can get a taxi from any casino. Yes the Borgata is a happening place. And one after thought, watch out for those elderly people(I think they earned the right to enjoy the bus to A/C).

Kit45... If you want Las Vegas, then hop on a plane and go to Las Vegas.

The Borgata closely resembles the Strip playgrounds, as close as AC comes to that.

There is nothing wrong with elderly people, Kit. Maybe you will be elderly someday?

Some people may consider AC tacky, but remember you haven't been there in a long time. The city has improved tremendously, but it is not Las Vegas (nothing wrong with that, btw). If you don't think the ostentatiousness of Strip casinos in Las Vegas is just the least bit tacky, then your bias against AC is both evident and irrational.

Hope you enjoy the Borgata and AC as a whole if you go, but not sure your attitude will let you.

Thanks everyone, I caled Borgata and they told me to get off at AC terminal take a cab or jitney to Borgata.

I didn't mean to be rude when I commented on elderly people. I know one day I will be old and I respect old people. I just felt out of place and depressed when I went along time ago, I was the only young person on the bus thats why I asked//

Yea Vegas is tacky too, considering I went to the Liberace Musuem, lol

The ride to Borgata is a bit futher from the Bus Depot than from the Trump Marina . The cab will be a few dollars more , the Jitney the same ( $2) from either location . Borgata is very under 35 on weekend nights . You will not get a bonus if you go to the depot wheras you will get about $15 back from Trump Marina if you take the bus to the Marina . You have to check the scheduals to see exactly which bus goes to the marina .

Save yourself about 12 bucks Kit...once at the AC bus terminal every hour is a bus to the borgata...it's the New Jersey Transit bus 501 to Brigantine...it's only $1.25 and leaves on platform 4 at the 1/2 hour...meaning 1:30...2:30....3:30 and so on. I think those few bucks you save may come in handy at the Borgata...heck, who knows they may just be your dollars to big winnings! Have fun!
