Visa Re-entry

If I were to plan to visit Israel for a week or so, leaving from Taba and returning to Egypt, where can I obtain a re-entry stamp, at the border in Elliat, or elsewhere?

Do you have a multiple-entry visa for Egypt?

Otherwise, officially, you can only get the 14-day Sinai visa at the Taba border but there are stories of people getting a full visa, sometimes with some baksheesh, sometimes with the help of a tour operator. There is an Egyptian Embassy in Tel Aviv and an Egyptian Consulate in Eilat.

Used to be that you showed up at the Eilat Consulate at 8:45am - closed Friday and Saturday - with two passport photos (white background) and you'd have your visa in a couple of hours.

At the Taba border, before you are stamped out of Egypt, there is a little office on the left where you can get a re-entry visa (single or multi). If you do not get this, you either have to go to the Egyptian consulate in Tel Aviv or Eilat to get a full Egypt visa. As Gordoosh says, the only visa obtainable when you enter Egypt from Israel is the 2 week, sinai only one.
