Electronics on Thomas Cook Flights

Just had confirmation from Thomas Cook that you can now take your electronics, iPads, kindles, laptops etc in your hand baggage on flights back to the UK from Hurghada. Just hope Hurghada airport security has this information😂

If Thomas Cook competed, on price, with EasyJet then I might congratulate them.

Cheers

Just wish I’d known before I booked and paid for hold luggage, £25 wasted.

Let's hope it is a little more factually correct that some of the clearly erroneous statements they are apt to release from time to time.

I'll feel a lot happier once I have read it first hand on the UK Government website.

There hasn't been an update yet on either the gov.uk website or TC's own website. Both still say the electronics ban on hand luggage is still in force. Bit confusing for everyone travelling in the next few days if TC say one thing in one place and another in a different place! And with no government/FCO update. Need to keep a look out for official updates in the next few days.
