March weather

Never been to Egypt before, planning two weeks in March next year. Can we expect sunbathing weather?

We had an unusual March this year.

It's normally mid to high 20's during the day, and around 14 -18 on a night. But it is nippy, so fetch a jacket or cardies for night. It is also still quite windy throughout March.

Much better weather than Europe and the UK anyway lol.

hi we always go the first 2 weeks in march and have done for many years, the weather can be very hot up to 28 degrees, and as low as 20, some times it can be very windy, but if you have a wind break you will still tan, it best to bring a wrap or jacket as the sun goes down early and it can be nippy, but then some nights it can be very warm,

we are back again next year, same time, go and enjoy

regards sandie

We went to Sharm in February, sunbathed and came back with a tan :)

We did March in Sharm a couple of years ago and it was really warm in the day although cool and breezy at night. This year we went to El Gouna in March and we a bit disappointed with the weather. Very heavy rain had fallen just before we arrived and we had several cloudy days. The wind was cool and it was only sunbathing time in the middle of the day. Nights were cold.

As a previous poster says, the weather was unusual this year but I would not go in March again. April 2013 in El Gouna was great!
