Sharm El Sheikh in February?

I would like to take my family inc 2 children (5,8) to Sharm El Sheikh in February but am wondering if it will be warm enough to satisfy my husband as a 'Summer holiday' - he loves the heat and will never forgive me if he feels hard done by....

We were there this year in Feb and I found it too cold for me, especially at night, most of the entertainment is outdoors and we froze. There is a constant wind blowing which can make it feel really chilly. However the sun shone every day and if you could get out of the wind then it was fine for sunbathing. The Red Sea was really warm and so amazing for snorkeling, but I really felt that wind when I got out. My kids lived in the water though, unheated pools did not worry them one bit.

Going back next month when its supposed to be warmer.

February is my favourite time of year. Have been 4 times so far. Days are not too hot 26 ish OK nights can be cold a warm cardigan or fleece is needed to sit out but where in England could you sit out in February. The end of February into March is a good time. Going in 3 weeks time and again in February and again October 2009 can't get enough of the place. Too hot for me from May to October hope you have a great time may see you there. CB
