Hi

Is that the el hyatt or hyatt regency? If it is the el hyatt would like a general overview of what you thought of it, any positives/negatives, would be appreciated.

Many Thanks

The meals and drinks at the Hyatt Regency are very expensive. My friends daughter has just come back and it was £10 for one cocktail!

Last year a friend went and she said the meals were very expensive compared to the lovely restaurants in Naama bay.

Hi We go to the Hyatt for 2 weeks on the 15th March because we have read other reviews about the price of food and drink we are going half board, has anyone opted for this and if so can you dine at any restaurant without paying extra. I think we will be going to the supermarket for the drink as the hubby will have a coronary at the thought of paying £5 for a bottle of beer. Also can you recomend the best rooms to request with a sea view and no noise from bars etc.

thanks

The food and drink in the Hyatt is fairly expensive but this has been compounded by the weakness of sterling.

A bottle of Saquara last year was LE35 which is less than £3.50. This year it's LE38 which puts it around £4.70.

Also a bottle of wine (the Shahrazade is extremely drinkable) this year and last is LE200. Last year that was about £19 this year about £25!

We weren't half board but I think half board people had to pay an extra LE160 per adult for a meal in the Souk. Not sure of any deal for the Thai or Cascades.

Can't help with room choice unless you're Regency Club. All RC room have a sea view but ask for a high floor if you really want to see the sea!

Hi,

We are going to The Hyatt Regency for 7 nts starting with 14th of March. Could you please tell us how much is the extra supplement for Regency Club upgrade (/pers/night) and is it worthy if we already booked halfboard? (esp. considering food, drinks and access to RC facilities).

Thank you,

Adya
