Sharm First timer

Thinking of going to Sharm for the first time, could someone please advise what we should pay for a trip to the pyramids by plane, a Quad bike trip to see the sunset and visit a Bedouin camp and a Red Sea Boat trip. Also thinking of staying at the Sharm Resort Hotel would this be a good choice ?

With local tour ops a Cairo by plane trip (visa required) is about £130, quads (obtain ins for risky sports before you go & make sure the firm offers helmets)is £10-£15, Red Sea cruise is around £15-£20. Shop around, ask questions, eg with Cairo ask if lunch /entry fees/ water thru the day is included. If it's important to you, ask if it's mainly English-speaking or multi-national. Ladies should dress more conservatively for Cairo & guys need knees covered. Ask about stops en route. Haggle, especially if booking more than one trip.

Check the Tips & General Advice thread, above the other threads, for lots more useful info.

You usually won't be covered for quad bike on your travel ins, best to check.
