the resort is furthest rooms from the beach area if its the beach you want you need to stay in the Plaza hotel bit and ask for rooms in the 1000 or 2000 blocks they are dearer than the resort but if your not that bothered stay at the resort . buffet meals are of as far as buffet meals go but the al a carte restaurants are all very good my favs were the shish ( bbq meat and chicken ) Italian, Pizza , C-view and Mexican are also very good you need to book these the day before you want to go

Hi only booked yesterday off tomorrow. Is there a dress code for evening wear e.g. long trousers for men. Or are shorts acceptable?. I am hoping that this hotel is good as I am not inclined to take much notice of reviews. Would be grateful of any up-to-date useful information.

Thank you

No dress code

u need to book al a carte restaurants day before in reception, turn right tables at the bottom with a large TV on, booking open from 08.00>12.00 and 16.00>20.00 but if u book fist thing in the morning they may have something for that evening hope you enjoy it

italian and shish restaurants very good

not in walking distance and nowhere to walk to outside the hotel, the hotel lays on free bus to naama bay twice a day at 10.30 return 12.45 ( very little open in the morning though, most shops don't open till at least 13.00 ) and 12.30 return 14.30ish or a pay for bus in the evening or hotel taxi or walk outside the main gate and pick up a normal taxi

Beach and snacks included in All Inclusive, as are pool towels and sun loungers etc.

they will try to sell you bottles of beer or cocktails but never hard sell just them no and you Just want a glass of beer

hi stanphil59,glad you had another good time! we're thinking of going back in oct and would like one of the rooms by the oasis pool, block 1000's. when i emailed the hotel they said book a deluxe room, but the red sea hols only show junior suites or standard rooms. do you know if i book a standard with balcony this would be classed as deluxe? last year we booked resort with out balcony and took a chance and got a lovely room with a terrace in the 800's. dont really need a suite and its quite a hike in the price.

thanks
