Hie

All rooms with private pool face the beach, apparently they do hold a beach party twice a week so you find it noisy on those nights.

Hi

Stayed in the junior suite with swim up pool. They are facing the sea, lovely position. We are returning in September and this time we have booked a deluxe room hope we won't be disappointed.

Hi. I'm interested that you've stayed at "rixos". How's the food, drinks, rooms entertainment etc.. We've booked the cleopatra resort. But are having 2nd thoughts!!!

We are traveling with our 2 little ones..

I really like the look of rixos. Hope you can help us to make an informed decision.

Hi

We have stayed at the hotel twice, when it was the Royal Grand Azure. We took our Son with his wife and young Grandson a year old then.

The pool outside the Zodiac was excellent as it was shallow slopping into the water fine for a crawling toddler.

When it was time for his sleep we moved back to our room and took advantage of the pool and to sunbath.

Entertainment was low key but they had a childrens disco in the evening which he enjoyed, we didn't use the childrens club.

Food was not a problem, they made us fuss of our Grandson and there was plenty of choice for him. where we went he came to.

Beach is nice and not a long walk to get there. However, the sand is gritty still good for sand castles and to dig, but the water is lovely and warm.

There is also a nice walk along the beach if you need to push a baby to sleep.

Rooms are nice and large with plenty of space, we were given a travel cot for William and we just transferred this to our room during the day. There are tea and coffee facilities and a small fridge which is filled with drinks on a daily basis

Can't comment on what the hotel is like now, however hope it is at least the same and hopefully better.

Please ask any question that may come to mind, we haven't stayed at cleopatra but to be honest we have stayed in a number of hotels and not been disappointed to date.

I have never stayed there but due to be there on 25th august with my husband and 8/12 yrd olds. Booked it due to great reviews and then found out our friends cousin is a manager at the hotel, so pretty pleased we booked in the end. looks great, when are your flying out. not too late to change but all hotels in egypt look great to be honest unless you are reading some pretty dire reviews of course.
