Inspired Luxury Escapes

Hi,

Has anybody had any dealings with the above company whether good/bad? Am considering booking with them for a holiday to Nabq Bay next month, but given that I always book through a High St travel agent, am a bit apprehensive. Any feedback on this company would be appreciated.

Many thanks,

Pat

Hi. I have travelled with this company twice and have had no problem. Just bear in mind that when u get out of the airport the board they hold is a different tour operator name, forgot the name, hope that made sense. It was always a private pick-up and on time.

We booked the Villas Bahia Azul in Fuertaventura for a one week deal in November 2013 via Inspired Luxury Escapes. The villas themselves were good, however, we had a number of issues during our stay, viz;

- the advertised Health spa was closed for repairs

- daily cleaning - this didn't happen - we had one change of sheets towels during the week.

- free wifi access - The wifi didn't work throughout the stay on my Apple iPhone or iPad.

We complained during our stay, but to no avail, and have subsequently complained to Inspired Luxury Escapes, only to be told that neither they or the hotel see any reason to compensate us.

Suffice to say we won't be booking with them again!!

We just had a horrible experience with them.

We booked a package with plane tickets, paid and received confirmation for the booking, but the information about the flights wasn't coming in. After a series of very frustrating interactions with their customer service, today, the day before travel, I was told that they couldn't get the hotel to take the booking, so we have no holidays.

We booked at short notice for Rhodes (not Egypt) last year - all went perfectly and we had a marvellous holiday.

The customer service was excellent and we have been planning our Autumn holiday with them this year because of such a positive experience.

Speak as you find I guess.

We have travelled with them a couple of times without any problems. We now use HolidayElite to book our Egypt holidays as they were cheaper.

We had a problem with our transportation to the hotel.

The transport was booked through Inspired Luxury Escapes as we wanted a smooth transfer with our 3 year old child.

We were told we would be met at the arrivals gate by somebody holding a board with our name, guess what?

We waited in 2 queues to get help then were taken outside to wait 20 minutes on our transport.

When our LUXURY poor condition minin bus which smelled of cigarette smoke and was very hot inside.

ILE were informed on our return but after investigation decided that we received the transfer and that the smelly mini bus provided fitted the purpose.

Mistakes happen however they did not resolve our complaint and there attitude is deplorable.

ILE is just one of the trading names of Broadway Travel, so basically an agency packaging their own holidays, which is fine as long as the suppliers they use for the various elements of the holiday are up to scratch. As you don't know who they are there's no way of checking them out first.

Hi

We booked a iceland northern lights tour for january 2015. They are advertised as luxury tours however when we got the details, we realised that all they really do is book you the cheapest things available. We are now booked to leave iceland at 7 am as this was the cheapest flight and will have a 4 am pickup at our hotel. They could have booked a flight that leaves at 1530 hours for 20 pounds extra but didn't book it or ask us. Should we now wish to change our flights, it will cost us 70 pounds per person.

Also realised when i looked up the individual prices of everything they had booked that it would have been cheaper to book the separate components myself.

Am sure the trip will be fine, however there customer service is very poor and they are unwilling to do anything to help keep the customer happy.

Will not be booking with then again.

Has anyone pre-booked excursions with Inspired Luxury Escapes? We are going to Madeira with them and they have sent an email with a long list of trips, days out, city tours, walks etc and have advised us to book and pay before we go. Is it cheaper to book these trips once we are in Madeira rather than buy them from this tour operator?

Terrible customer service. . Sent us to a half built resort with building work. They know full well that they shoulld have informed us.Eight weeks in and they are still passing the buck to one of the many companies they book parts of the holiday with. Dont waste your money on this part of Broadway travel. Dreadful.!!
