Le Royal Holiday Resort

I booked our holiday with Thomas Cook last June to stay in this hotel this October. I'm finding myself growing increasingly concerned about the poor reviews. I know it's difficult to please everyone but the hotel has suddenly gone from #12 to #26! Thomas Cook have also told me they have had no complaints. Can anyone put my mind at ease?

Few other questions.......... Is there tea/coffee facilities in the room? We have a standard double I think. Did anyone with children feel safe leaving the resort? We'd like to visit Naama Bay. Is it possible to walk from the hotel?

Do the rooms have an iron? Is the mini fridge stocked or empty for us to be able to fill it ourselves? Is there free water left in the fridge for residents?

We also booked last May when ranked at #6, reviews have improved over last couple of weeks. But I would also like the same answers. I went into Thomas Cook 2 weeks ago with my concerns but like you said they hadn't heard anything. I think I am now going with an open mind and hopefully just enjoy our holiday. We go 27th July for 2 weeks.

Hi

I looked at this hotel but changed my mind, read all reviews carefully and you will find that there are numerous restrictions like you can only drink in one bar all others are chargeable. To me this is not an all inclusive package.

Hi Inno

When we booked last May the hotel had only just opened and lobby bar was all inclusive, also by now it should have a lazy river, rapids and swim up rooms ( all not happened). As a family we have paid a lot of money for this holiday and whatever I hopefully will enjoy it. Went to Bulgaria last year and it really can't be as bad as that.
