15 nights / 16 days visa or not ?

Hi

Off to naama bay in August for 15 nights and wanted to know if I need a visa ?

Have been before but for only 14 nights and didn't need one but wondered if I do because of the slightly longer stay

Thanks

Hi

You will need a visa if staying longer than 15 days

From the Egyptian consulate website:

Nationals from UK , EU and USA travelling to Sharm El Sheikh, Dahab, Nuweiba and Taba resorts ONLY, for a maximum of 14 DAYS, do not require a visa prior to travelling as a free entry permission stamp will be granted upon arrival. If they intend to travel outside of the above mentioned areas they MUST obtain a Visa.

The UK Gov advice is slightly different - it treats the requirement as 14 nights / 15 days

British nationals travelling to Sharm El Sheikh, Dahab, Nuweiba and Taba resorts for up to 15 days receive a free entry permission stamp upon arrival. If you intend to travel out of these areas or stay longer than 15 days, you must get a visa

15 nights means a visa is required, whichever advice you take
