Hello,we have stayed at both Hotels.Neither of them have much to do outside of the hotel grounds. The Radisson has a small shopping centre, where as at the Movenpick you can walk through to the Hilton shopping centre. The Movenpick has a manmade beach which the sea is accessable along it`s whole length, the best snorkelling is near the fence with the Hilton. The radisson has a lovely beach whih goes straight onto the reefs,so ther are a couple of paths into the sea. There was a jetty, but we think it`s been removed since our visit. The Movenpick has easy access to Israel,as the border is only a couple of hundred metres walk away. Both hotels will probably have the same tour operators in them, the trips can be booked through any of them.We have stayed at the Movenpick more than the Radisson,as we read that the Radisson was being marketed towards the Russians and East Europeans, and weren`t impressed with the antics we were reading about. The Movenpick does have Eastern Europeans and Russians staying there, and Israelis, but they do open seperate restaurants for the brits to eat in.We haven`t seen any bad behaviour from them, except for queue jumping. The Red Sea is a lovely area to visit, whichever hotel you choose.Regards,Terry and Belinda.

Hi

We stayed at the Movenpick last June with the kids and had a ball.

There isn't much in the way of entertainment but my 9 year old enjoyed what there was, plus she went to the kids club and snorkelled etc.

We also went to Jerusalem which was pretty easy.

We're going back again this year and plan to visit Petra.

It's very quiet but ideal for some well needed R&R and all my kids loved it. In fact we were planning to go back to Florida this year as we went the year before and all 3 kids complained because they wanted to go back to Egypt!

Hope this helps

Sharon
