Maithil food

I would like to know about a few eating out options for vegetarians in Patna. Is there any restaurant that offers authentic maithil veg.food? Is there a place that serves anything other than the standardized punjabi gravy or north indianized south indian/ chinese food?

Where is this litti joint located in Patna? Also, can you recommend some local eateries, nothing fancy, but the ones serving authentic veg. bihari food/snacks?

For typical litti joint go to station road ,infront of Mashjid and ask anyone about 'Purani Litti Dukan' ,its a small and simple shop on 1st floor of an old building, nothing fancy but only tasty yummy litti. After litti just below that shop there are 2 snacks corners selling samosa and chandrakalla, dont miss them too.
