It is winter at that time of year and temp. in day time can be around 10-15 degree centigrade while at nigt it can go down to 5 degree. With warm clothings you can easily go around.

The best time to visit Chandigarh is the period between mid August and November, when the weather is neither too hot nor too cold. Since Chandigarh is located in the plains; it enjoys a moderate weather like other North Indian cities experience. Summers are sometimes very hot and then the arrival of monsoon comes like a pleasant surprise.

According to your vacation timing spring break in march is best to visit chandigarh. As chandigarh situated in north here weather is so hard whatever winter or summer. Else August to november is best time to visit chandigarh.

I don't think there will be any problem. With the good woolens it is comfortable out there. If it is foggy only then it is very cold otherwise it is ok.

Thanks and regards,

If it is foggy in Chandigarh, sometime the temperature goes down to 4-5 degree Celsius, so I feel you will be needing woolens at 4-5 degrees.

Thanks and regards,
