If you applied for the e-visa and you now have a granted status e-mail confirmation go read that e-mail again.

Lower down the mail will be a click on link to take you to a print off page this will be the visa, it will have a photo of the applicant and a large colour watermark of the Indian Crest.

Do not think that anyone is doing something for you it is a self help process.

There is a link on the Granted email ( second line from the bottom) to the official site. When you get on the site click on the Blue 'Visa Status' tab. On the page that opens enter your Application ID ( it's at the top of your email , Status regarding e-VISA application no ........., just copy and paste) and passport number . Plus a security phrase / number that is displayed on the page. Then press the 'Check status' tab and you'll get to the print official Granted page. This down loads as a .pdf that can be printed , the pdf file can also be saved and transferred to you phone if you want to. I advise that you take two copies of this as people have been asked to show them on leaving India too, as well as whilst in India ( for phone sims or by hotels).

It may sound complicated but it's straight forward when you see it.
