Hi

Are you talking about scheduled flights via Mumbai or charter flights that stop off for refuelling in Bahrain?

It depends. It suits me better to fly from Heathrow and I don't always want to go for exactly a fortnight, plus I value extra room for my legs, so I'm happier getting a flight via Mumbai or Bangalore.

If the connections between the flights aren't too long I find it OK. 3 hours between flights is probably the most I would put up with. I have sat around for longer but it gets too tiring.

Have a look at

www.jetairways.com

www.flykingfisher.com

both have excellent reviews and we have flow many times with Jet. This season people who flew with Kingfisher via Bangalore said it was better than flying via Mumbai as they did not have to change from International to Domestic airport.

also get a quote from www.southalltravel.co.uk this company used by many people who travel to india.

definitely scheduled wins IMHO, and yes it does take a lot longer cos of having to get 2 flights but we will never travel to Goa on charters again

we went with Kingfisher in january and have booked with Kingfisher again for december, they are fantastic

LeedsAdamalan, you cannot get a schedule flight from manchester, you have to go to london to fly kingfisher etc. this means you have 3 flight changes. I know as i was thinking of doing this and it works out a lot more thasn flying direct with thompsons.
