New Years in Goa 2010

Hi Everyone,

Just wondering, my partner and I will be in Goa for Nye 2010. He mentioned some rave/trance party - which I am not too keen to go to.

We are both 24 and 28.. and wonderign what else there is? Obviously we want somewhere with music, count down and drinks...(safe though)

Any suggestions of places or alternatives?

In my opinion the beach is the only place to go on New Year's eve. Almost all of the shacks will have fireworks and music. Many will have some sort of a dancefloor.

I agree with Katie P .(poet, don't know it ! lol!)

The beach is the place to go. Atmosphere is wonderful, the booze flows, you end up kissing everyone to see in the new year, the shack boys go a bit squiffy! You'll love it.

Your partner could be talking about this

which actually isn't New Year's Eve but a 3 day event between Xmas and New Year.
