Beach Huts in the North

Appreciate that are probably threads on this already but in keeping with TA tradition thought I would create a new one!

References are made to Beach Huts in Colva, Agonda etc which I believe are in the South?

We are staying Candolim and about 4 years ago we stayed up in Morjim( I think it was), at S2 shack, which was affiliated to Sudans restaurant in Calangute - the huts were standard but suited our needs and we had a relaxing time.

I understand that I would now need to change my language and disregard all manners that I have ever had if I wanted to stay up there again as it is now no longer a part of Goa but an independent state controlled by our friends from the East?

Should I look to Arshvem Beach/Mandrem Beach to relax and chill at a beach hut or any other recommendations??? (prob only about 1hr max from C/C/B or is Morjim not too bad?

Looking at 2000 Rps per night if feasible.

My vote would go to the Golden Eye shack in Ashwem which has some lovely huts , the shack is fantastic with lovely food, the huts were going for 2000 rps over Xmas and I was very tempted to stay over, I spoke to the owner and they are willing to 'do a deal' on the price.
