Totally agree dragon, more info is required if help and advice is needed.

sadly dragon, if they don't use the search function, look at existing reviews, even read down a couple of pages of posts, the FAQ's or look at commonly asked questions, then they are hardly likely to be reading your sensible post ;) :)

I put my hands up !! I am one of them people who forget to search and sometimes forget to give all the info needed for people to not have to guess :(

But if I ask a question I Do always read all the replies ! along with other peoples advice ......hence my replie now :)

And would like to say a big thank you to everyone who has taken the time to answer my questions even if they have been somewhat stupid ones at times ....almost there :).

Right on Dragon.....

Too many members not asking specific questions, so how can we help?

'Best' beach, 'best' hotel, 'best' restaurant etc... in Goa??!!!

Seems many of these 'requests' are from Indian members who don't have the common sense to do a search on TA.

(Okay.... UK members too, so let's not get into the 'racist' argument.)

Great post Dragon, bet we still get questions that can be found on google.

Like has anyone got the email address for the so and so hotel?

9. Re: Help us to help you with questions

You've missed the point Igirl....

There are daily questions here from Indian members who haven't been to Go before. That's understandable so not an issue of course.

However, so often a lack of simple common sense to use the great resources here at TA is

completely ignored.

This isn't a matter of 'universial forum', 'racism', or any other 'ism'.

Common sense questions are a simple matter of human sensibility, so let's get off any 'race' issue.

We can all offer constructive help and advice to all TA members, regardless of nationality, IF questions are sensible.

I agree.

I didn't see anything in Dragon's post that suggested racism in any form.

I would have been the first to complain if that was the case.

It's a valid point he makes........please be a little more specific with your questions, guys!

Help us to help you.
