Visa application

Hi, I'm looking to book for my husband and I to go to Goa on 22nd January. Would I get my visa in time and how do I apply-can I do it online then post info or do I need to go to Manchester? Many thanks, Ann.

Hi Annie

You should have enough time to get your visas.

Badgerlad has bumped up the relevant thread which tells you all you need to know.

Yes, you do complete the form on-line, then print it off.

You can either post it (note the correct address for postal applications is Hayes) or take it to one of the centres.

At Manchester, you can drop your application off and they'll post it back to you or at Birmingham you can drop it off and then go back a few days later to collect it.

Some people use a visa agency, you do pay extra for the service but it does give extra peace of mind.

If that's the way you want to go, I'm sure I've seen a recommendation for an agent somewhere near Preston.

We have just had our Visa's back. Took about 7 days. We used "IndiaVisa24". They were very good, although a bit more expensive. They phoned us because our photos were not quite the right size. So for £10 they resized them and sent us 4 new photos back. Very happy with them!!

We went through QPS Travel in Dewsbury. They were very helpful. Although we paid a bit extra to go through an agent, the help we got was invaluable and took all the hassle out of the process. It took just over a week to get the visas back.

We are also going on the 22nd, staying at Keys Resort Ronil in Baga

Its our first trip to Goa and cant wait

If you use an agency ask for an extra copy of your application form , then you can use it to answer questions on VFS website to do your own next year.
