50 mm x 50 mm photo?

Folks

I just was about to send off for our Visa's and notice that the India Visa require a 50mm x 50mm photo.

I didnt really think at the time, cause our last visit we used normal passport photos, but am i right in saying the 50mm x 50mm is bigger than a normal passport and probably wouldnt accept this?

Just means i have to get everyone to get more photo's done that all.

thanks guys!

Yes, they are bigger, and no, they won't accept the normal ones.

supershed,

yes you now need the 50mm X 50mm photos even for applications through the embassy in Dublin who only introduced the new online system a few weeks ago.

we got our photos from a booth in ASDA, £7 for 4.

Hi,

Yes the 50 x 50 are bigger than normal passport photos.

Your application is likely to be rejected if you send the wrong sized photos.

Asda photo booths do the photographs at this size.

Looks like you may have to get them done again.

Yes supershedeve I we had the one from a booth sent back so took my own on digital camera and printed them off very cheaply at home their is plenty of free visa photo places on the Internet to resize just use the American size that you don't need for America anymore this happened about the same time India decided that photos have to be 2 x 2 perhaps India got all their visa equipment cheap

Got our visa photos from a local photo/camera shop cost a quid cheaper than using booth and the lady probably saved me £7 just by asking me to move my fringe so my eyebrows were visible. She said would be rejected otherwise!

We had our visas rejected last week due to the fact we sent normal passport photos! Had to quickly send then back and pay £7 for the larger type. Photobooths now have a 'visa' option for india/USA/Pakistan. There are larger with no white border.
