Indian Excise and Customs (Changes in May 2013)

I found this recently and thought I would share, I noticed a difference when I came through customs this year, there is an extra little form you need to fill in when flying domestic too, you even have to declare small amounts of foreign and Indian currency on domestic flights....

Did I read it correctly that each of us can take 2 litres of alcohol into Goa? We are in Doha for a couple of hours and we're thinking of getting some Gin ?!! I can't remember the price in goa, and we haven't done long stay before.......do like a G and T on the balcony!

rovingoldie Gins very cheap in Goa about £1.50 per bottle its called Blue Ribbon, my husband said its very good, so i would not bother in Doha unless you are very fussy about your Gin, Duty free in Doha is very well priced. :-)) Gel

Can't give you a price for the Gin as we don't buy in it in Doha, but i'm sure someone will be able to give you an exact price, if not check out there Duty Free on line. sorry i can't be any more help, we tend to buy Cigarettes and Tobacco. :-)) Gel
