Flights Booked For First Time To Goa

Well we just booked our flights to Goa for Xmas 2014, we've never been before but both are looking forward to it eagerly.

Were getting married in July & this will be our belated honeymoon.

Fly out on December 16th with Monarch & return on NYE.

Dunno where to stay yet?

Want to do the Golden Triangle tour.

Dudshagar Falls & spice plantation

Hampi also if we can squeeze it in but dont want to miss too much R&R on Goa's wonderful looking coast.

How many days are recommended for each of the above tours?

Definately do Hampi , it took me four years to convince the wife to do this trip , what an experience much better than the falls and plantation , you will never forget it I promise you

I'm going in February to Calangute Goa with a quickie 3 days to New Delhi & Taj Mahal. Mostly spend time on the beach @ Dommats Shack getting some serious rays.......You will love it as 1st timers and will be tottaly hooked......

well done! I think Hampi and the Golden Triangle is a bit too much on the one trip. They are both exhausting and 3 days is the absolute minimum for the Triangle. I would go for Hampi and leave the triangle for another time, December is not the best month to go either, its can get a bit cold and very foggy in Delhi then with lots of disruptions for flights.

Have to agree with Dragonfli, Hampi and Golden triangle is definitely too much.

We did Hampi this season and it is non stop travelling for 3 days but it is well worth it as it is an amazing place.

We booked locally with DavidAir and stayed at the Krishna Palace

To me it's not worth doing all that travelling and spending that money to rush through it, our triangle trip was five days and I still felt it was rushed, you can't take it all in and appreciate it. In three days you wouldn't know if you were coming or going and if you got held up with bad weather you could miss half of it.

Would it be possible to fit in a Taj Mahal visit in mid- late december from Goa without too much weather disruption?

We did the golden triangle trip in January and it was freezing in the mornings/nights - only about 4 degrees! Warmed up to a pleasant 18 to 20 in the afternoons but not for long

It is an exhausting trip though so perhaps that & Hampi would be too much

The Taj Mahal is breathtakingly beautiful though
