What terribly sad news. I seem to recall that there was a not dissimilar attack, also in Margao, a couple of years ago.

Yes it does Gel, but the police don't seem to be bothered about it, there was also another bomb scare today at Margoa station today, a homeless man threw a rucksack containing 23 sim cards (Don't ask ) and rubbish onto the track, then claimed he had planted a bomb.

Both of those stories are about the same incident, It wasn't in Margao but close to Margao in a village called "Sao Jose de Areal", apparently they were to be used for wild boar / fishing - Around 30 such bombs were there in the house. I am not quite sure how you would use a bomb on a boar? Possibly fishing I guess but boars?
