visa process - arghhhhh!!

righty - finally got the forms filled in and printed off. Now the complicated bit - I am sending the forms and passports to Hayes. Do these need to go by special delivery service? Is the best way to send a postal order for the fees or make a payment online? Also, am i right in thinking that both passorts can be returned in one envelope, so i just need to buy one prepaid special delivery envelope for them to be returned in? Any help and advice would be gratefully received! xxx

Hi yes you do need to send them special delivery, and if you haven't paid on line then the best way is by postal order, also you are ok to send 2 passports in one envelope so only need to enclosed 1 prepaid special delivery envelope for their return. Remember to keep a note of the tracking numbers on the envelopes then you can keep an eye on their progress.

Take a copy of each application and then you have got the info for next year.

Also take a copy of your passports.

Austin

This is the website of the company who handle issue of all Indian visas:

http://in.vfsglobal.co.uk/index.html

There's lots of things that can go wrong so read the VFS website and the threads on here and pay particular attention to the photo specifications - they are very precise.

Depending on your job, you may need a letter from your employee.

If you are taking children (even if they are your own) you will need additional documentation.

All the info is on the website but can be hard to find.

All postal applications go to the Hayes address.

Igirl has already mentioned the Declaration Form that also has to be printed and signed.
