Where to eat in Candolim?

First holiday to Goa, depart 6th Jan 2012. Wondering where's good to eat in Candolim. Read about Victor's shack and had a personal recommendation to go to Monica's, but other than that, was wondering where to go for a nice evening meal that's not too far from the Whispering Palms Hotel where we are based?

thanks Michelle

You'll be spoilt for choice.Eat at a different place every night and you still would'nt eat at all the resturants.

There are some great places to eat in Candolim. If you have had enough of Indian food and want a change, Foxys Steak House , in Highland Beach Road does some really great steaks.

Monica's shack is good they do a really great breakfast (fry up) and all the food for all meals is great.Very clean shack.

another vote for Foxy's Steak House in the lane by Highland Beach hotel, Green Jacket in Beach Road, and another good place to eat is right next door to Whispering Palms called Pande. had several meals in there and all were lovely.

Ryan's shack is very close to you. Go to the beach, turn right and it's next to the lifeguard station. You will pass Victor's on the way to the beach.Dont be put off by appearances and don't forget you have to book in advance and let him know what you want.

Their positions in the T/A restaurant reviews says it all
