Very few sellers on Candolim beach and the ones who are selling don't have lots of stuff, just a few bits so they can leg it if the police see them.

Very few beggars too.

The acrobats were still around on the beach though.

The masseurs (?) seemed bored out of their trees, they are saying 'no business' and if they manage to talk someone into having a massage they have to go into the shack to do it.

Everyone was saying how quiet it was, even some of the restaurants weren't that busy.

I walked past Mango Grove one evening about 7:45 and there were only 2 couples in the whole place.

Usually at that time it's quite busy.

Today the drummer boys were back. The beach dogs were barking at them and I said "Beware Police dogs!"

Last week it seemed that newspaper sellers were allowed. I was also passed hourly by an ice cream seller and someone selling dodgy DVD's. Kids selling fruit have disappeared, also jewellry/clothes sellers etc etc. Beach massages have disappeared unless you want to go around the back of a shack to a hut, the whole process looking slightly shifty.

This was in Candolim.

Very few at Benaulim area during the day more at night. There seem to be less dogs also, maybe the shacks have found a way to make them taste like chicken.
