Manali trip

We are planning to visit Manali in 3rd or 4th week of May. Need some guidance.

This is our indicative plan

Day 1 morning flight from Mumbai to Chandigarh, Chandigarh to Manali by road.

Day 2 : Rohtang pass + Solang valley.

Day 3 : Kullu + Manikaran or Manali local sightseeing

Day 4 : Return to Chandigarh and evening flight back to Mumbai

1. Tourist taxi - Ideally we need a tourist taxi (Innova) to pick us up from Chandigarh airport on Day 1, stay with us for Manali sightseeing for next 2 days and drop us back to Chandigarh airport on Day 4. Could you please suggest taxi services / websites?

2. Sightseeing - Due to time constraints, we would only have 2 full days for sightseeing. Could you suggest ideal itinerary?

3. Rohtang pass - I understand Rohtang opens in 3rd week of May or even June. How to be sure of this? Cannot get through to Manali tourist information centres. In case Rohtang is closed what alternative for Day 2?

4. Hotels - Please suggest decent hotels in 3500-4000 per night range.

Thanks in advance.

1.) You may contact: Himalayan Holidayz OR Highlander tours

2.) On 2nd day skip Manikaran & go for local sightseeing of Manali & Naggar village if time permits.

3.) Alternate is to go for solang valley & activities like rafting in Beas river.

4.) Khushboo resorts, Manali heights, Snow Peak etc.
