which route - Manali or Srinagar

Planning a trip in June/July for about a week with family. Which is a preferred route to Leh - via Manali or via Srinagar? We are adventurous family. On return we will fly out of Leh.

Thanks

Srinagar - leh route with kargil night stay is best for better acclimatization point of view. you can also cover shame valley sightseen on that route.

Many thanks. Can you give me some idea as to how much would be a full taxi with an overnight stay in June/July.
